In this spooky edition of Intro to Tools, we’re gonna build homes for our favourite nocturnal creatures of flight. We’re making bat houses! Bat houses are a great way to encourage a healthy urban bat population. And Halloween is coming, so the bats need venues for their freaky bat parties.

As per usual, the Intro to Tools workshop is for absolute beginners. We will assume you’ve never touched any of the tools before. The class will focus on basic techniques and the safe use of the basic shop tools; table saw, chop saw, drill, sanders, etc.

Space is limited and our workshops sell out quickly! One bat house/participant! Please note that bat houses will be similar to the one pictured, but not identical.

$25 for members, $30 for non-members

Must be at least 18 years old to attend.
