Spoon Making for Beginners

Learn how to make your own walnut cooking spoon! You’ll learn how to make a spoon using a mix of techniques; you’ll learn how to chisel out a bowl, and how to use power tools like the band saw and the belt sander. We’ll also cover finishing options, and different types of wood ideal for spoon-making. This workshop is for beginner spoon makers and we will assume you’ve never made a spoon before. We will also focus on the safe use of all tools. We’re doing 2 workshops on the same day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Space is limited and our workshops sell out quickly! Every participant will bring home 1 spoon. Must be 18 years old or older.
