Want to help make the VTL more accessible and inclusive? Looking for an opportunity to work with the VTL Board, but not ready to make a long-term commitment?

The VTL Board is looking for volunteers to join the Community Committee, a new short-term working group focused on increasing VTL’s accessibility and outreach. The Committee will help develop new VTL programs to actively and sustainably reduce barriers for communities who are systematically excluded from tools and makerspaces. 

If you are interested in supporting this important work, we would love to hear from you! Committee volunteers will be asked to attend monthly meetings (in-person or virtually) from August to December 2026.

Who can get involved? Everyone! All community members that are interested in supporting the committee’s mission, VTL members or not, are welcome to join. We encourage 2SLGBTQIA+, BIPOC, disabled and neurodivergent folks to apply – all voices are needed!
