Intro to Tools: Storage Ladder

If you haven’t already heard, ladders are the coolest way to store things like blankets, towels, clothes. Cancel your storage unit, you got a ladder! *Please do not cancel your storage unit.
Come and learn how to build your own storage ladder! As per usual, our Intro to Tools workshops are designed for total beginners. We assume you’ve never touched a table saw before. We focus on safety and basic techniques on tools like chop saws, drill presses, table saws, drills, etc.
$15 for VTL members, $20 for non-members

1 ladder/participant. Please make sure you have the means to transport your ladder!
This is Isobel, our new longtail cargo bike. She’s capable of carrying up to 400lbs. Available to members for $2 for 2 days. Late fees are $10/day. No renewals on this item! Come in and take her for a spin!
We recently acquired a wood lathe. It’s a beautiful piece of machinery and it’s in circulation now! Start your spinning.
Effective November 1st until further notice, the Library will be closed on Fridays. We will continue to operate Tuesday thru Thursday from 4pm to 8pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 3pm. Through the summer months it seemed more convenient to offer the extra day but now in these darker fall/winter months, Friday has become a rather lonely affair.
