The Intro to Lathe workshop is your opportunity to learn how to turn wood on the VTL lathe! Aimed at absolute beginners, this workshop will give participants an opportunity to gain hand-on experience with the lathe. You’ll learn the basics; how to use a lathe safely, mounting wood blanks, selecting the proper gouges, and other basic turning techniques. The workshop is limited to just 4 participants, so everyone will have an opportunity to practice turning. We will be doing 2 workshops on the same day.

$30 for non-members
